Mimir ist ein großer, schicker Wallach mit sehr guter Abstammung. Er ist Fünfgänger mit feinen Reaktionen und großer Leistungsbereitschaft. Mimir wurde dreijährig gekört und vierjährig gelegt, ist im Umgang und in der Herde jedoch gar nicht hengstig. Mit seinem sehr guten Gangpotential ist er für den Fünfgang und die T4 geeignet.
