Lovely young mare with a fantastic pedigree. Luna is one of the few offsprings in Europe from Óskar fra Breiðstöðum. Oskar is the well know 4 gaited stallion who won many championships in Iceland in T2 and 4.1. He also participated in the WC2023. Lunas mother is a beautiful splash mare Sif fra Solheimatungu (5 gaited) after the famous splash stallion Glotti fra Sveinatungu (FIZO 8.64). Luna herself also carries the splash gene – she has interesting markings in the head, one blue eye and 3 white socks. I think that Luna will be 4 gaiter (or 4 ½ gaiter) - she shows mainly trot and canter but also tölt in the transitions. With her interesting pedigree and her beautiful colours she is very interesting as a breeding mare. I have not measured her recently but her parents are tall (sire 145 cm, dam 143 cm) Luna is trained to hand walk, standing still when farrier is coming and goes easily into trailer.
