f. Arion frá Eystra-Fróðholti IS2007186189 m. Ljósbrá frá Hruna IS1998288399 Örn's father is the well known Arion frá Eystra-Fróðholti, who has a breeding assessment of 8.91 in total. For confirmation a good 8.39 and for riding ability a stunning 9.25!! Örn’s mother is Ljósbrá frá Hruna. She was judged in 2004 with a 8.08 in total as a fourgaiter, with 8.35 for confirmation and 7.88 for riding ability. Örn was born in Iceland, and moved to Denmark when he was 3 years old. His mum Ljósbrá followed him a few years after, and is now enjoying her retirement as a breeding mare, here at home in Denmark. We haven’t done much training with Örn, besides all the normal daily handling, because we simply lack the time for riding. As some of you already know we run a firm (Equinics - have a look at our webshop ;) as well, which is taking almost all of our time. That’s why we decided it was time for Örn to learn the basic riding skills, so he can find a new owner: one who loves to educate and form his own horse and has the time for him that he deserves. He is sweet in all handling, a bit scared sometimes when ridden and something is coming from behind, but really wants to learn and does his best to be a good boy! He loves all the activities on the farm and watching everything that goes on, always ready to help ;) He is now being trained for about 6 weeks (from scratch at Lenette’s place @staldlitir, and she can tell you much more about how he is ‘under the saddle’ :-D Please feel free to contact her if you have questions around his skills.
