Description

Forkur is a wonderful big gelding, and he is son of Hlynur frá Ragnheiðarstöðum and Folda frá Ragheiðastöðum. His tölt is good, he is a 5 gaited horse with a smooth trot and gallop is one of his favourite gaits, he does have his pace is ok I haven’t tried to competition in pace but he can be good in that, he is bulletproof doesn’t care about cars,bikes, baby carrier or children running around. When he is really excited, he will speed a little but does listen to the seat really well and remembers he has to listen to the rider. He has competition in t7 and has gotten 6.0, he has some experience in that era and he’s good but can be a little stressed on the track and also he is a lot of fun on trail rides alone, with a group. Doesn’t have any eczema in is family, no health issues but doesn’t like his ears to be touched, i have trained him to bow his head down for the bit, he knows how to smile, lift his front legs. He is a wonderful horse and is looking for the perfect rider for him, he needs an experienced rider he is not for beginners.
