The first UNDRA EVENT will take place in Iceland from October 12th to 13th, 2024! Location: Fákur Riding Club, Reykjavík

This is your chance for a combination of a trip to Iceland and sightseeing, as well as getting training impressions from the best riders in Iceland, listening to lectures about the country, about horse breeding and riding, going shopping, enjoying a get-together with other Icelandic horse friends, breeders and trainers, AND to watch a big sales horse show! At the Icelandic evening on Saturday evening, you can also experience some traditional Icelandic food as well as music!

Meet and experience live on site, among others: Svisshólar, Kjarr, Ganghestar, Sunnuvoll, Hest.is, Kerhólshestar, Hestvit, Herríðarhóll, Solvangi and more!

The preliminary program for the two days is as follows (subject to changes and additions):

SATURDAY:
10:00 a.m.: Opening

• Information about the export and arrival of horses from Iceland on the continent, Barla-Catrina Isenbügel
• Prevention and treatment of summer eczema, Hestakofi (Tim Reinert)
• The history of the FEIF and the Icelandic horse, Prof. Dr. Ewald Isenbügel
• Information about studying and living at Hólar University, Johannes Amplatz
• Riding tours and holidays in Iceland and emigrating to Iceland, Herriðarhóll
