Hraunsteinn ist ein 6-Jähriger Rapp-Hengst, des viel zu früh gestorbenen Elite-Hengstes Apollo frá Haukholtum (8.68) und der Grús frá Horni I (8.16). Grús frá Horni I hat bereits vier Elite Nachkommen, von denen auch viele erfolgreich im Sport laufen. Apollo hat eine Vielzahl an geprüften Nachkommen, die mit beeindruckendem Gebäude und guter Gangqualität überzeugen - er ist auch der Vater des Weltmeisters bei den 6-Jährigen 2023: Höfði frá Bergi (8.39) Hraunsteinn konnte dieses Jahr in der Futurity Tölt mit 7.60 und im Futurity Viergang mit 7.36 zeigen, was in ihm steckt. Er überzeugt mit viel Fluss, Takt und Elastizität. Besonders ist zudem sein unerschrockener, toller und einwandfreier Charakter. Für 2025 ist seine FIZO-Vorstellung in Planung.
