Stefnir ist ein wunderschöner geschmeidiger und hoch gekörter Fünfganghengst aus der Erfolgszucht von Bergur Jonsson und Olil Amble. Sein Vater ist die von Olil gezüchtete lebende Legende Álfur frá Selfossi, der selbst aus der Wunderstute Álfadís frá Selfossi stammt. Der Stute, die wie keine jeh zuvor die Zucht der Islandpferde geprägt hat. Auch die Mutterseite lässt keine Wünsche offen. Stefnirs Mutter Vænting frá Ketilsstöðum ist selbst eine Erstpreisstute aus Bergurs Ketilsstadir-Zucht. Neben Stefnir sind mehrere Nachkommen hoch gekört. Stefnir besticht nicht nur durch seine super Qualität in allen Gängen, nein, auch sein Gebäude ist grossartig.
